Addon domain

infigaro.com has officially become a addon domain. I created a directory in my new web host and pointed the dns record to the new web host and created a sub-directory. So www.infigaro.com is actually now at my www.newdomainname.com/infigaro. So basically nothing change for you to access my infigaro.com page. haha :p

Nearly forgot to backup before change of domain name

Further to my post yesterday on

changing to new domain name, I nearly forgot to do a very important thing which is to backup my data on the web site!!! Oh my god, thank god I remember. So now I am backing up and ready to execute the plan when backup is complete!

Have to research and find a new domain name that I like. Infigaro.com is fine but when people ask what is the meaning….hmmm i got no idea too. So I decide that is time for a nice self brand. Been thinking if i should use my real name but think is will be boring..anyway..i found something i like
Email my blog host located in US to ask how much to do so…US$5…..what to do…cheaper to do so that to purchase another hosting plan. besides, I can’t have too much time to maintain so many blogs
Tell my blog audience(if any) that I am moving to my new domain name.
Redirect all emails to infigaro.com to my other email addressess. infigaro.com will be the past….. still exists under the sub directory of web host but will be a parked domain
www.infigaro.com, goals.infigaro.com, www.sgsalsa.com will be the passssst…..
more…to come.…change dns, check directory, update blogs on social bookmark..after I execute this plan tonight…..erm..make it during the weekends. Tonight abit rush

A goal without a plan is a dream

This is a very meaningful quote: A goal without a plan is a dream. We always plan to do something. I want to go backpacking..I want to start my own business. I want to do….You must have feel this way in some part of your..trying to achieve so many things..just like me.

Our brain knows what is the goal. But we always miss out the steps to achieve this goal..we fail to plan and if we fail to plan, the goal becomes a dream..

Think this is a post to remind myself of my goals in life and the execution of the plan to achieve it. Are you planning for your goal or just dreaming?

9 December, discover treasures at home

Spend my Sunday to clean and pack my house. Oh mine, discover so much treasures at home. Time to post on ebay to sell.

Those items are bought on impulse, I think. Not too useful for me now. So instead of taking at space at home, I just sell it.

Its time you clean/pack your house and you might find a treasures in your ‘junk’!

8 December, what I did on saturday

Didn’t go out today. Stayed at home the whole day. Started off by planning for my 2008 action plan and goals. Still need some fine-tuning. I learn not to be over ambitious. I tend to try to do too many things at one time and it is tough to focus. So now, I focus on the key task on hand and finish it before moving on to others.

Finally started to learn PHP. I done some simple php hacking but not really did a php site by myself. So this is s good chance to test my skills and potential in php for web development. Hope to be well verse to create a complete web service using PHP by end January 2008…This is my goal!

End off my day watching English Premier league at home. Did a small bet on Manchester to win and they did. Just made about SGD$20++. Not bad

Didn’t go ZoukOut today. hope to go next year if they decide to hold it again!

It was an interesting chit chat session on entrepreneurship. This was some of the key advice which I noted in my blackberry and wants to share with everybody:

Being an entrepreneur means you are the boss and worker. Nobody tells you what to do and when to do it. ‘It is addictive and chaotic system’ quoted by Paddy?

Question was posted that without having wife or family to support, there is no push/pull factor for you to go(over) to the limit to achieve success as a entrepreneur.
