Happy birthday to myself
December 3rd, 2007 · 2 Comments
Yes, it is the time of the year again when people wish me happy birthday, give me present and sing around/in front of a cake for me. It is my 29th birthday and time really flies…
The best way to spend my birthday is having someone I love cook something for me to eat. Nice or not is not the problem, it is the heart that is put into the food. But then, no one loves me and I love her yet..so nobody is cooking for me…:|
Anyway, another birthday brings another new meaning to life and giving more direction to my future. Today, I just created a tagline…Freedom to earn, learn and travel which I have begin to explore.
If your birthday is on the same day as mine ,3rd December, I hereby wish you happy birthday as well. Have a great year ahead!

Goodbye Singapore free dial-up service..Hello Wireless@SG?
December 1st, 2007 · No Comments
March 31 2008. Good bye free dial up in Singapore. Remember those days when we didn’t have broadband, dial up was the route to internet. Those days, I played Diablo, over the dial up internet connection. Haha. Still playable with some lag…..of course… Now no more dial up service, any one cares?Unlikely. Because of the free ‘nationwide’ free wireless services, wireless@sgThis is a nationwide project launch by the Singapore government to provide to spearhead Singaporeans into a anywhere, anytime internet access zone. Which means freebies….all Singapore will sign up….haha….but does not really seen the case here…WHY?.. [Read more →]

Simple adventures at Nokia repair services
November 28th, 2007 · No Comments
As some of you have read my previous blog post on my Nokia N80, having some issues with the slide and the screen turning white. So on friday, I decide to pop by to the Nokia Service center at Wheelock place. Reach there about 11am. Greeted by a lady at the counter, collect number slip…. beep beep and waited for about 15 minutes. The staff checked and said my phone is out of warranty but she said likely it will cost less than 75 dollars to fix it. As i like this phone very much, I decide to pay for it. Ask for a loan phone. have to give 50 deposit.
Saturday, someone from nokia called me and said my phone cost about $108 to fix because they change the LCD and cable. Well ok, I just like the phone so go ahead. Went down to pick up the following day. Just pass my receipt to them and they ask me to pay and I got my ‘new’ phone back. I tried it and everything looks fine. paid the price of $108 for new cable and LCD. Have 2 months warranty only…:(..
But happy to get my phone back in a nice working condition ![]()

Asia Young Entrepreneurs but time…
November 26th, 2007 · 3 Comments
I just read a article on Asia Young Entrepreneurs and planning to be one. There is so much envy when I read what they done, doing something they like and to achieve something
But I am really trying to find time after my work to focus on my dream. There is so much to do and yet not that much time. Came home at about 8pm. Had a rest than dinner and the time is 9pm. Took a shower and start to read some news articles on the net and the time is 10++pm. Preparing to sleep soon as i have to wake up early.
I am really trying my best to orgainise my time and complete the important tasks first. Quiting my job to focus full time is not a option now so I have to do so after office hours.
Feeling abit frustrated but it is improving and I hope to do more as the days goes by. So for those of you out there, hang on to your dreams!!
Jia you!!!

Yummy food in Marrakech
November 12th, 2007 · 1 Comment
I am still in Morocco working and is in Marrakech. Morocco time zone is GMT+0 which means is 8 hours behind Singapore(GMT+8). The time now in Singapore is 3pm but 7am in Morocco. What is interesting in Morocco? Hmm..let me tell you more on food in Morocco. There is a few Mcdonald outlet here. It is amazing considering that we are always able to find Mcdonald in almost all parts of the world. The sad thing is there is no big breadfast sold here.
I had salad for one of my dinner and this is how it looks
Here is a photo of Tagine Chicken. Taste like curry but not spicy. It is cook with potato and always eaten together with bread. Talking about bread, I have bread almost every meal here!
Had dinner at a japanese resturant. It is very expensive and not very nice! Close to SGD$40 per head and this is one of the items we have.
And when all the food gets bored…there is always everybody’s favourite noodle.
I will be back with more on Marrakech.

Travel to Morocco
November 3rd, 2007 · 1 Comment
This video was taken at Marrakech, Capital City of Morocco South. Marrakech is known as ‘Red city’. Not sure why it got this name but most of the city buildings are in red color. I was in the cab at the outside of Medina. The Moroccan currency is the Dirham and cannot be brought or sold outside of Morocco. The video is just a preview of Morocco. Stay tune for more…
